“Both of my sons have learned classical guitar with Angelica since they were 5-6 years old. Now they are 13 and 9. Angelica is very patient with young kids and good at keeping them engaged in the class. She is strict about fundamental techniques, while always communicates her requirements with kids in a very positive way. The good habit built up in early years helped my older son to progress through the more advanced pieces very smoothly. She also teaches them music theory once they were mature enough to understand the abstract concepts. With all these fundamentals, my son picked up his second and third instruments in the school band fairly quickly, although guitar is always his favorite. 

Both of my kids have developed strong bonding with Angelica. In this aspect, she is more like their long-term mentor other than a music teacher. She always reinforces their manner in the class.
